Invitation letter from the ESP President
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the ESP Executive Committee and the Congress Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 21st Congress of the European Society for Photobiology, taking place in Bari, Italy, from September 24th to 28th, 2025. This biennial international meeting serves as a vital platform for sharing groundbreaking research and technological advancements in the field of Photobiology. It consistently provides excellent opportunities for engaging scientific discussions, exchanging innovative ideas, and fostering new collaborations.
The program will feature 30 symposia spanning the full spectrum of Photobiological Sciences, alongside several keynote lectures exploring exciting emerging areas in the field. The Congress will also open with a presentation by the Young Investigator Awardee. Participants will have the chance to deliver oral presentations and engage in interactive poster sessions. Additionally, a comprehensive fellowship program has been launched to encourage active participation by young scientists in the Congress.
Bari, a vibrant city facing the Adriatic sea, offers a charming and relaxing setting for the event. Renowned for its iconic Basilica di San Nicola, the old town, historic palaces, striking architecture, and lush waterfront, the city is an ideal destination. The Conference location of Polytechnic is conveniently located in the student area. Bari is easily accessible via the Karol Wojtyla International Airport, just 2.7 km from the venue, offering flights to over 40 destinations across Europe and the USA. Rail connections to the closest cities, Rome, Napoli, and Lecce further enhance its accessibility.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, whose contributions will be recognized during the Congress, in our literature, and on our website.
I look forward to welcoming you to Bari, a truly remarkable location for what promises to be an unforgettable meeting.
